Fendt 5.1.34 – Enhanced Control ECU (A002): B094 (or B047) - Sensor, steering angle 1 (4WD differential lock)
Issue description
The system has detected a "Signal / switch fault" from the steering angle sensor. Because the tractor cannot accurately determine the steering angle, the 4WD and differential lock automatic systems are rendered inoperable (out of order) to prevent drivetrain binding or damage.

Check the cause
Inspect the wiring harness and connector going to the steering angle sensor on the front axle for chafed wires, corrosion, or a loose connector (reference Wiring diagram Sheet 33).
Attempt to recalibrate the steering angle sensor and steering valve via the tractor's terminal (Calibration code 2401) to see if the fault clears.
Inspect the sensor's linkage and universal joint on the axle bridge for physical damage or excessive play.
Repair steps
Preparation
Park the tractor on a level surface, engage the hand brake, and turn off the engine.
Removal
Locate the steering angle sensor on the front axle bridge. Disconnect the electrical connector. Unbolt the sensor and its linkage/universal joint from the axle housing.
Installation
Mount the new OEM steering angle sensor and secure the hardware. Reconnect the electrical harness.
Mandatory Calibration
You must calibrate the steering angle sensor and steering valve before using the tractor for the first time after replacement. Start the engine and confirm/clear the active warning messages on the instrument panel using the ESC button. Navigate to the VarioGuide / main menu level on the multiple display. Run the calibration procedure for the steering angle sensor (Calibration 2401).
Testing
Test drive the tractor to ensure it drives straight along way-lines and verify that the 4WD/differential lock automatic mode is functioning again.
