Fendt 5.1.35 – General System / Transmission control bus (4WD ENHANCED CONTROL and DIFFERENTIAL LOCK ENHANCED CONTROL): B047 - Proximity sensor - steering angle sensor 2 — Signal / switch fault
Issue description
The system is detecting an invalid signal, switch error, or complete failure from the secondary steering angle proximity sensor (designated as component B047). The immediate consequence of this fault is that the 4WD (Four-Wheel Drive) and differential lock automatic systems are thrown out of order, and the automatic stop function for these systems will not operate.

Check the cause
Verify the exact symptoms: Confirm that the 4WD and differential lock automatic modes are disabled, which is the standard safety consequence of this code.
Consult the '4WD / Diff. Lock' circuit diagram in the Fendt service manual to trace the wiring path for sensor B047.
Locate the B047 proximity sensor, which is mounted on the front axle (used for monitoring steering angles to automatically disengage 4WD/diff lock during sharp turns).
Inspect the sensor's wiring harness and connector for physical damage, corrosion, or breaks that could cause a signal or switch fault.
Repair steps
Safely park the tractor and ensure the front axle is accessible.
