Fendt 5.1.61 – A002 ECU (Enhanced Control): B003 - Suspension position sensor — Signal fault.
Issue description
The front axle suspension position sensor (component B003) is faulty, or its signal to the control unit is missing/incorrect. As a safety measure, the system disables further suspension functions, and the front axle suspension remains locked in its last position.

Check the cause
Check the A013 Fuse to verify if there is an 8.5V power supply fault.
Inspect connector X152 (located on the left side lateral arm behind the guard) for corrosion, moisture, or backed-out pins.
Check the mechanical linkage arm attached to the B003 sensor to ensure it is not bent, broken, or disconnected.
Repair steps
Secure the Machine
Park the tractor on a level surface. Caution: If you are doing any mechanical work on the suspension components or accumulators, the pressure in the suspension must be completely relieved first.
Resolve Wiring/Power Issues
If fuse A013 is blown, replace it. If connector X152 is damaged, repair the wiring harness.
Replace the Sensor
If the wiring and power supply are intact but the signal fault persists, remove the guard on the left lateral arm, disconnect connector X152, unbolt the faulty B003 sensor from its mounting bracket, and install the new sensor.
Calibrate the Suspension
After replacing the B003 sensor, run the End-Of-Line (EOL) programming/calibration via the FENDIAS diagnostic system or the tractor's onboard terminal using calibration code '7666'.
