   Verify the voltage supply for the CAN-Bus on the A013 fuse board, specifically inspecting fuses F040 and F041.

   Inspect the CAN3 and ISO bus wiring harnesses for breaks or short circuits (look for disruption of the 8.0 V basic signal voltage generated by the A002 E-box).

   Perform an ECU load test via the Variotronic terminal (Diagnostics Menu 1) to check the load counter of the A002 ECU (should display around 22,000 if unloaded).

   Clear and Reset

   Clear the fault codes and cycle the tractor's ignition to see if the CAN3 component initializes on a fresh startup.

   Software Reprogramming

   Connect the FENDIAS diagnostic tool and attempt to reload the data record via EOL (End-of-Line) reprogramming.

   EPROM Replacement/Flash

   If the EPROM has a fatal error or checksum fault, the software programming may need to be flashed. If it cannot be overwritten with EOL (on newer boxes chassis ../8001 and up), the EPROM itself must be replaced.

   Hardware Replacement

   If the A002 ECU fails to communicate entirely, has internal hardware damage, or will not accept EOL programming, the entire A002 E-box must be replaced and subsequently programmed to the tractor.
