Fendt 6.1.1A – Main Electronic Control Box (E-box): Actuation fault with component Y026 (Rear PTO speed 540 Stage I solenoid valve)

The system has detected that the solenoid valve cannot be electrically actuated or is mechanically seized (stuck in the 'OFF' position). As a direct consequence of this fault, the rear PTO cannot be engaged normally at the 540 or 540E rpm speed setting.

   Perform Emergency Mode Test by pressing and holding the 'Engage PTO' key in the cab for more than 5 seconds to verify mechanical clutch operation.

   Inspect the 12V supply fuses related to the PTO system (check A013 fuse 13 or fuse 32 depending on model).

   Inspect the wiring harness and connector X360 for the Y026 solenoid for broken wires, corrosion, or a disconnected plug.

   Test the Y026 solenoid valve electrically for an open circuit or short to determine if it is electrically dead or mechanically seized.

   Park the tractor on a level surface, turn off the engine, and engage the parking brake.

   Locate the Y026 solenoid valve on the transmission/PTO hydraulic control block.

   Refer to the 'PTO's' circuit diagram in your specific Fendt service manual.

   Disconnect the X360 electrical connector from the Y026 solenoid.

   Remove the retaining hardware securing the solenoid coil and valve cartridge.

   Perform this if diagnostic tests confirm the solenoid is electrically dead or mechanically seized.

   Extract the faulty Y026 solenoid valve.

   Be prepared to catch a small amount of hydraulic fluid.

   Install the new genuine Fendt Y026 solenoid valve and torque to OEM specifications.

   Reconnect the X360 electrical connector.

   Turn on the tractor and use the FENDIAS diagnostic system (or the onboard terminal) to clear the 6.1.1A fault code.

   Test the rear PTO by selecting the 540 rpm speed and engaging the PTO normally to verify the repair.
