Fendt 8.3.50 – Rear EPC: Warning: Right load sensor pin overloaded

The right draught sensing pin (B031) is experiencing an overload condition caused by the twisting of the rear lift in its upper range (90–100% lift height) because the mechanical or hydraulic setting is adjusted too tightly. This is a real-time warning and is not stored in the permanent fault memory.

   Observe the rear power lift operation in the upper 90–100% of its lift height.

   Inspect for any physical binding, twisting, or uneven tension on the rear lift arms and the right draft sensing pin when the lift is fully raised.

   Ensure the attached implement is not excessively heavy or improperly hitched, causing undue stress on the right side.

   Relieve the Load

   Immediately lower the rear hitch slightly to relieve the right drafting sensing pin of its current load.

   Adjust Lift Settings

   Adjust the upper limit settings of the rear electrohydraulic power lift control. Lower the maximum lift height limit slightly (below the point where twisting occurs) to prevent the pin from binding.

   Clear the Warning

   Since the code is not stored in the ECU memory, the warning should clear automatically once the physical load on the B031 pin is relieved.

   Test Operation

   Raise the lift to the newly adjusted maximum height and verify that no twisting occurs and the 8.3.50 warning does not return.
