Fendt 9.1.51 – A002 Enhanced Control Unit (ECU): Y019 - Spool valve fault — EEPROM inconsistent
Issue description
The internal memory (EEPROM) within the Y019 auxiliary control valve's integrated electronic circuit has become corrupted, contains inconsistent data, or has suffered a physical hardware failure. The system forces the valve into a neutral, fail-safe position, disabling the associated hydraulic functions.

Check the cause
Clear the fault codes via the tractor terminal or FENDIAS diagnostic tool and cycle the ignition to rule out a transient voltage spike.
Verify the supply voltage to the Y019 valve, as heavily fluctuating voltage or a failing alternator can cause EEPROM read/write errors.
Inspect the wiring harness and CAN bus connectors at the Y019 valve for moisture, corrosion, or damaged pins that could corrupt data transmission.
Repair steps
Depressurize the System
Lower the front power lift and any attached implements to the ground. Turn off the engine and actuate the hydraulic controls to relieve any residual pressure in the system.
Locate the Valve
The Y019 valve is typically located in the central control block (ZSB) on the right side of the tractor. On some models, it is accessed by removing the right entrance step footplate or the side access flap.
Disconnect Electricals
Disconnect the CAN bus electrical connectors (X641/X642) from the Y019 valve.
Remove the Valve
Thoroughly clean the area around the valve block to prevent dirt from entering the hydraulic system. Unbolt and carefully remove the faulty Y019 spool valve.
Install the New Valve
Lubricate the new O-rings with clean hydraulic fluid. Install the new spool valve and torque the mounting bolts to the manufacturer's specifications.
Reassembly
Reconnect the electrical harness and reinstall any removed access panels.
Calibration
Turn on the tractor. Use the FENDIAS diagnostic tool to clear the old fault codes. Perform End-of-Line (EOL) programming or a teach-in calibration procedure so the A002 ECU can recognize the new valve's CAN address and parameters.
Test
Start the tractor, test the front power lift for proper operation, and inspect the valve block for hydraulic leaks.
Parts you might need
(2)Electro-Hydraulic Auxiliary Spool Valve (Position Y019)
Specific to the Front Power Lift circuit. Exact OEM part number depends on tractor model, chassis number, and hydraulic block configuration.
Hydraulic O-rings/seals
Always purchase and install a new set of hydraulic O-rings/seals when mounting the new valve to the central control block.
