9.1.52

Fendt 9.1.52 – A002 - ECU, enhanced control: Spool valve fault: Supply voltage < 8 V

Issue description

The system has detected that the supply voltage to the Y019 auxiliary control valve has dropped below 8 volts. As a safety measure, the valve automatically moves into the neutral position, and the front power lift functions become unavailable.

Check the cause

  1. Check fuses F040, F041, and F047 on the A013 circuit board, which supply power to the CAN bus and electric auxiliary control valves.

  2. Disconnect the harness at the Y019 valve and measure the supply voltage (must be between 8V and 18V). If below 8V, the issue is electrical.

  3. Inspect wiring and connectors X330, X640 (+UB power supply), X641 (CAN high), and X642 (CAN low) for corrosion, moisture, or backed-out pins.

  4. Check hydraulic control pressure to ensure it is above 22 bar, as pressure drops can trigger secondary valve faults.

Repair steps

  1. Locate the Y019 Valve

The valve is located on the right side of the tractor, at the right entry step, behind the hydraulic oil tank.

  2. Access the Valve Block

Remove the footplate and the protective metal panel to expose the central control block (ZSB).

  3. Relieve Hydraulic Pressure

Ensure the tractor is off, the implement is lowered, and all hydraulic pressure is relieved from the system.

  4. Disconnect Electrical Harness

Unplug the electrical connectors (X640, X641, X642) from the Y019 valve.

  5. Remove the Valve

Unbolt the Y019 auxiliary control valve from the Bosch SB 23 valve stack. Be prepared to catch residual hydraulic oil.

  6. Install the New Valve

Mount the replacement valve using new O-rings/seals. Torque the mounting bolts to 30 Nm (standard for the Bosch SB 23 series).

  7. Reassemble and Test

Reconnect the electrical harness, reinstall the metal panel and footplate, start the tractor, and test the front power lift for proper operation and leakages. Clear the fault code via the terminal.
