   Check wiring and CAN bus communication to the A004 control panel (accompanying codes like 9.1.C6 may indicate a CAN bus fault rather than a localized button failure).

   Clean the Switch

   If the button is sticking due to dirt or spilled liquids in the cab, use an electronics-safe contact cleaner to free the button mechanism.

   Test Operation

   Cycle the tractor's key power and re-test the button. If the fault clears and the front power lift enters the floating position, the issue was mechanical binding.

   Replace Component

   If the button is internally shorted or broken, the faulty component must be replaced. Depending on the specific Vario generation, the switch may be serviced individually, or the entire A004 control panel/joystick assembly may need to be replaced.

   Clear Codes

   Use the FENDIAS system to clear the 9.1.C3 fault code from the A004 ECU memory.

   Final Verification

   Start the tractor and verify full operation of the front power lift (Raise, Lower, and Floating position).
