Fendt A.1.11 – ECU, enhanced control (A002): Y015 - Auxiliary control valve (Spool valve fault, valve 1)

"EEPROM inconsistent" or "Electronics in valve faulty". The internal memory or the electronic control unit integrated directly into the valve has failed or become corrupted, forcing the valve into the neutral position and making it unavailable.

   Inspect the CAN II bus lines (pins 4 and 5) between the A002 Enhanced Control ECU and the valve for continuity or shorts

   Check the electrical connector at the Y015 valve (Connector X326, pins 23, 24, and 26) for corrosion, moisture, or backed-out pins

   Verify supply voltage to the valve. If voltage is correct (between 8V and 18V) and no other codes like A.1.12 or A.1.13 are present, the internal EEPROM failure is confirmed

   Locate the Valve

   Locate Valve 1 (Y015) on the central hydraulic control block. It is designated as "Position 1" and is color-coded yellow.

   Disconnect

   Unplug the X326 electrical connector from the valve.

   Remove

   Relieve hydraulic system pressure, then unbolt and remove the faulty auxiliary control valve from the valve stack.

   Install

   Mount the replacement valve and torque the mounting bolts to OEM specifications. Reconnect the X326 connector.

5. 5

   Calibrate / Program

   The new auxiliary control valve must be programmed for its specific position (Position 1 / yellow) using the FENDIAS EOL (End of Line) diagnostic program. The system will not recognize the new valve until this teach-in procedure is completed.
