Fendt A.1.1B – A002 - ECU, enhanced control: Floating position is not reached
Issue description
The Y015 auxiliary control valve's main piston cannot physically or electronically achieve the commanded float position, causing the system to default to a fail-safe state where the valve moves into the neutral position.

Check the cause
Verify if the floating position was deflected manually, which can trigger a related manual override code.
Inspect the spool valve for mechanical binding caused by oil contamination, dirt, or a physical blockage inside the valve block.
Check the electrical connector X326 (pins 23, 24, and 26) at the valve for CAN bus communication integrity.
Verify the CAN bus power supply on printed circuit board A013 by checking fuses F040, F041, and F047.
Use the FENDIAS diagnostic tool to check the setpoint/actual value display to determine if the internal position sensor is faulty.
Repair steps
Preparation
Safely park the tractor, lower all implements, relieve all hydraulic system pressure, and turn off the engine.
Locate the Valve
Access the central control block (ZSB) located on the right side of the tractor by removing the access flap. Identify the Y015 valve (Valve 1, yellow).
Disconnect
Unplug the X326 electrical connector from the Y015 valve and inspect the pins for corrosion or damage.
Removal & Inspection
Unbolt and remove the Y015 auxiliary control valve. Inspect the hydraulic ports for severe oil contamination or debris that could be restricting spool travel.
Replacement
If the valve is mechanically jammed or the internal position sensor has failed (common with this code), install a new auxiliary control valve.
Reassembly
Bolt the new valve into the central control block and reconnect the X326 wiring harness.
Calibration
The new auxiliary control valve must be programmed for 'Position 1' using the Fendt EOL (End of Line) program or the FENDIAS diagnostic software. The system will not recognize the new valve's travel limits without this calibration.
Testing
Clear the fault codes, start the tractor, and test the hydraulic float function to ensure the code does not return.
