A.1.1C

Fendt A.1.1C – A002 - ECU, enhanced control: Spool valve fault, valve 1. Floating position has been set manually

Issue description

Triggered when the system detects that the #1 auxiliary control valve (Y015, Yellow) has been manually overridden or forced into the floating position, bypassing the electronic controls.

Applies to these machines

Check the cause

  1. Verify if the operator intentionally used the emergency manual actuation lever/hand pump on the valve block (informational alert only).

  2. Inspect the manual override mechanism on the Y015 valve (Valve 1, Yellow) for physical binding, dirt, or debris holding the spool in the manual/float position.

  3. Check electrical connector X326 for corrosion, moisture, or backed-out pins (specifically pins 23, 24, and 26).

  4. Check hydraulic oil and filters for contamination, which may cause the main piston to stick internally and fail to return to neutral.

Repair steps

  1. Clear the Code

If the manual override was used intentionally, simply acknowledge and clear the fault code via the tractor's terminal. No repair is necessary.

  2. Clean and Lubricate

If the code is active but the manual override was not intentionally used, thoroughly clean the exterior of the Y015 valve block. Free up the manual actuation mechanism and ensure the spool springs back to the neutral position freely.

  3. Service the Connector

Disconnect connector X326, clean the contacts with electrical contact cleaner, apply dielectric grease, and reconnect.

  4. Flush Hydraulics

If the valve is sticking internally due to debris, flush the hydraulic system and replace the high-pressure hydraulic filters.

  5. Replace the Valve

If the valve's internal position pickup sensor has failed, or if the spool is permanently scored/jammed, the Y015 auxiliary control valve section must be replaced.

  6. Recalibrate

If the valve is replaced, you must perform an End-of-Line (EOL) calibration using the tractor's terminal. For Valve 1, use Calibration code 1003 (Calibration, linear module 1 - hydr. auxiliary control valve).

Parts you might need

(2)
  • Auxiliary Control Valve (Valve 1 / Yellow)

    Bosch SB 23 LS-EHS 2

Electro-hydraulic actuated. Color-coded yellow. Standard flow rates are typically 80 l/min or 100 l/min. Must be programmed for 'Position 1' in the EOL program.

  • Auxiliary Control Valve (Valve 1 / Yellow)

    Bosch SB 23 LS

Mechanically actuated (depending on exact chassis number and year). Color-coded yellow. Standard flow rates are typically 80 l/min or 100 l/min. Must be programmed for 'Position 1' in the EOL program.
