A.1.1C

Fendt A.1.1C – ELECTRICAL VALVES VALVE 1 / VENDI: Y015 - Spool valve fault, valve 1 — Floating position has been set manually

Issue description

Triggers when the system detects that the main piston of Auxiliary Control Valve 1 has been moved into the floating position via mechanical/manual override rather than through an electronic command from the tractor's controls.

Check the cause

  1. Verify if the operator manually actuated the spool valve lever for Valve 1 (Yellow) to release pressure or drop an implement. If so, clear the code; no repair is needed.

  2. Inspect the external fender pushbuttons for Valve 1. A stuck, dirty, or shorted external button can send conflicting signals to the valve bus.

  3. Check the manual actuation mechanism on the Y015 valve block. Look for dirt, debris, or corrosion that might be causing the manual override pin/lever to stick in the actuated position.

  4. Check for hydraulic oil contamination. If the spool is sticking internally and failing to return to neutral on its own, contaminated oil may be the cause.

Repair steps

  1. Access the Valve Block

The central control block (ZSB) is typically located on the right side of the tractor. You may need to remove the right entrance step or the side access flap to reach the valve stack.

  2. Locate Valve Y015

Identify Auxiliary Control Valve 1. Fendt color-codes this valve Yellow (Position 1).

  3. Clean and Free the Mechanism

Thoroughly clean the exterior of the Y015 valve. Lubricate the manual override mechanism and actuate it several times by hand to ensure it springs back to the neutral position freely.

  4. Clear the Code

Turn on the tractor, navigate to the fault code menu on the Vario terminal, and clear the stored A.1.1C code.

  5. Test Operation

Operate Valve 1 using the joystick/fingertip controls. If the valve works normally and the code does not return, the issue was a stuck manual override.

  6. Replace Valve (If Necessary)

If the code immediately returns and the valve forces itself into neutral, the internal position sensor is likely faulty, or the main piston is permanently jammed. The Y015 valve section must be replaced.

  7. Reprogramming

If a new Y015 valve is installed, it must be registered to the CAN bus and programmed for Position 1 (Yellow) using the EOL (End of Line) program in the FENDIAS diagnostic software.

Parts you might need

(2)
  • Y015 Auxiliary Control Valve (Spool Valve 1, Yellow Section)

The specific OEM part number for the bare Y015 electronic valve slice varies heavily depending on the exact chassis number and generation (e.g., COM III vs. S4).

  • Spool Valve Quick Release Coupling (OEM)

    G718960110100

Fits the rear remote couplers for the spool valves.
