Fendt A.1.1F – ECU, enhanced control, electric auxiliary control valves: Spool valve fault, valve 1 (Y015) — Setpoint message is missing or not plausible.

The electronic control unit is not receiving a valid command signal (setpoint) or configuration message for the first auxiliary spool valve. This is typically caused by a communication error on the CAN bus, a missing configuration message, or a faulty potentiometer/PWM signal from the operator's joystick or crossgate lever. As a safety measure, the system locks the valve and it automatically moves into the neutral position.

   Access the 'SPOOL VALVES 1 - 4 setpoint / actual value display' on the tractor's terminal to see if the tractor is registering any input from the controls

   Check for a potentiometer or PWM fault. The issue is frequently caused by a failing joystick or crossgate lever rather than the valve itself

   Inspect the wiring harness and CAN bus lines leading to the Y015 valve. The specific connection for Valve 1 (Y015) is Connector X326 (pins 23, 24, and 26)

   Verify that the auxiliary control valve is still correctly programmed for position 1 in the EOL (End-of-Line) program

   Resolve Input Faults

   If the diagnostic display shows a potentiometer/PWM fault, recalibrate the joystick/crossgate lever. If calibration fails, replace the faulty control lever.

   Repair Wiring

   If CAN bus communication is broken, repair the wiring harness at Connector X326.

   Valve Replacement

   If the wiring and joystick are functioning properly but the valve's internal electronics cannot process the setpoint message, the Y015 spool valve must be replaced. Note: The Y015 valve is the 1st control valve located on the underside of the central control block. To access it, you generally need to unscrew the right step and pull the right auxiliary tank outwards.

   Reteach Valves (EOL Programming)

   After replacing the valve, you must use the tractor's terminal or FENDIAS diagnostic software to 'Reteach existing valves.' Select the 1st valve (yellow) and assign it as 'Hydraulic spool valve AUX 1' so the ECU recognizes the new component on the bus.
