A communication failure on the CAN bus where the control system is unable to identify or communicate with auxiliary spool valve 2 (Y016), resulting in the valve being disabled and no valve operation available.

   Check CAN Bus Power Supply: Inspect fuses F040 and F041 on circuit board A013 to ensure they are not blown (multiple failing valves indicate a central power/bus issue)

   Inspect CAN II Wiring: Perform a continuity test on the CAN II bus lines (pins 4 and 5) between the A002 ECU and the Y016 valve connector, looking for chafed wires, corrosion, or loose pins

   Check Valve Voltage: Ensure the valve is receiving proper operating voltage (a drop below 8V or spike above 18V will force the valve into neutral)

   Locate the Valve

   Turn off the tractor and locate the central control block. Spool valve 2 (Y016) is typically the second control valve on the block (on models like the Favorit 900, it is located on the underside of the central control block) and is color-coded blue on the operator controls.

   Test Connections

   Disconnect the harness at Y016 and clean the contacts. Reconnect and cycle the tractor's power to see if the bus recognizes the valve.

   Replace the Valve

   If the wiring and fuses are intact but the A002 ECU still cannot recognize Y016, the electronic module on the spool valve has failed internally. Replace the valve or the electronic actuator head.

   Reprogramming (EOL)

   After installing a new auxiliary control valve, use the FENDIAS diagnostic software to perform an EOL (End of Line) program calibration to teach the system that the new auxiliary control valve is programmed for position 2 (blue).
