Fendt A.1.3C – Enhanced Control ECU (A002): Spool valve fault, valve 3 — Floating position has been set manually.

Auxiliary control valve 3 (red) has been manually deflected into the floating position. This acts as an informational code or manual override notification with no consequences, and the valve will either remain set or move into the neutral position.

   Confirm with the operator if spool valve 3 (red) was manually actuated into the float position using the mechanical override

   Check the hydraulic oil level and temperature, as low fluid or cold operating temperatures can cause valve positioning issues

   Inspect the valve block for mechanical binding to see if the spool is physically stuck in the float position due to dirt, debris, or oil contamination

   Refill/Warm Up

   Refill the hydraulic oil if it is low. If the tractor is cold, operate it until the hydraulic oil reaches normal operating temperature.

   Manual Reset

   Switch the valve to the floating position manually so that oil can flow back out of the external cylinder.

   System Reset

   Switch the tractor's ignition OFF, wait a few moments, and switch it back ON to reset the ECU and valve bus.

   Clear Codes

   Use the Fendt terminal to clear the stored fault code. If it was a temporary manual override, the code will not return.

   Valve Inspection

   If the code persists, the valve remains incorrectly positioned, goes into neutral unexpectedly, or the code cannot be cleared, remove, clean, or replace the specific spool valve section (BOSCH Rexroth SB-7 system).
