Fendt A.1.51 – OVERALL SYSTEM/TRACTOR or ENHANCED CONTROL (A002 / A004): Fault with component B094 - Sensor, steering angle (4WD differential lock)

Despite the steering valve being open, the steering angle sensor produces no fresh values within a 1-second interval. As a consequence, the 4WD/differential lock auto system becomes inoperable.

   Verify that there is adequate hydraulic oil in the steering valve, as a lack of oil can trigger this specific code.

   Inspect the B094 steering angle sensor on the front axle for obvious mechanical damage or failure.

   Consult wiring diagram sheets 33 and 39 to check the sensor's circuit. Inspect for a short circuit in the steering angle sensor earth or a short circuit in the voltage supply.

   Check the separation point X209 for connection integrity.

   Check hydraulic system

   Ensure the tractor is safely parked and the hydraulic system is checked for proper oil supply to the steering valve.

   Inspect and repair wiring

   Inspect the wiring harness leading to the B094 steering angle sensor for any shorts or breaks. Repair any damaged wiring.

   Replace steering angle sensor

   If the wiring and hydraulics are intact, the B094 steering angle sensor has suffered a mechanical fault and must be removed and replaced. Install the new steering angle sensor on the front axle.

   Calibrate sensor

   After replacing the sensor, it must be calibrated using Calibration code '2401'.

5. 5

   Clear fault codes

   Clear the fault codes from the tractor's memory to ensure the 4WD/differential lock auto system is restored.
