A.1.5D

Fendt A.1.5D – A057 - ECU, steering controller (Auto-Guide): Invalid frequency for steering control regulator, entered as EEPROM parameters

Issue description

The system has detected an "Invalid data set" within the EEPROM parameters specifically related to the frequency of the steering control regulator.

Applies to these machines

  • 411 Vario COM III
  • 412 Vario COM III
  • 413 Vario COM III
  • 414 Vario COM III
  • 415 Vario COM III
  • 712 Vario COM III

  • Fendt 300 Vario (COM III)
  • Fendt 400 Vario (COM III)
  • Fendt 700 Vario (COM III)
  • Fendt 800 Vario (COM III)
  • Fendt 900 Vario (COM III)

Check the cause

  1. Connect the FENDIAS diagnostic tool to read the current parameters of the A057 ECU

  2. Verify if the software or calibration data has been corrupted

Repair steps

  1. Perform EOL Programming

Re-flash or reprogram the A057 steering controller ECU with the correct data set using the Fendt PCMCIA card and FENDIAS software.

  2. Replace A057 ECU

If EOL programming fails to resolve the EEPROM parameter error (meaning the memory chip inside the ECU is physically damaged), replace the A057 ECU entirely.
