Fendt A.1.64 – A057 - ECU, steering controller (Auto-Guide): Y087 - Steering valve block, Auto-Guide has not yet been calibrated

The system recognizes the steering valve is present but lacks the necessary calibration parameters to operate the automated steering safely. This is a software/calibration condition rather than a hardware failure.

   Check for related fault codes (A.1.65 or A.1.66) to ensure no hardware or wiring issues are present before attempting calibration.

   Check hydraulic oil to ensure the steering valve has hydraulic oil pressure.

   Check wheel position to ensure the front wheels have sideways freedom of movement and are relatively straight before initiating the calibration sequence.

   Park the tractor

   Park the tractor on a flat surface where the front wheels have full freedom of movement to steer left and right.

   Access Calibration Mode

   Access the tractor's terminal and enter Calibration Mode.

   Enter calibration code

   Enter Calibration code "2403" (the specific code for the Y087 Auto-Guide steering valve).

   Initiate calibration

   Initiate the calibration. Do not touch the steering wheel during this process (moving it will abort the process and trigger fault code A.1.63).

   Allow automatic steering movement

   Allow the system to automatically move the steering. If the system detects a movement to the right when it should be moving left, it will trigger A.1.62, requiring you to restart the calibration.

   Wait for completion

   Wait for the terminal to indicate a successful calibration with an "OK" message.

   Verify fault code cleared

   Exit calibration mode and cycle the tractor's key to verify the A.1.64 fault code has cleared.
