   If diagnostic checks reveal a broken wire or short circuit in the harness leading to the Y087 valve block or its position sensor, repair the wiring harness and clear the codes.

   Replace steering valve or position sensor

   If the wiring and voltage are confirmed good but the monitoring error persists, the internal position sensor or the steering valve itself has failed. Check the steering valve or replace the steering head.

   Calibrate Auto-Guide system

   After replacing or adjusting the steering valve (Y087), enter calibration mode and run calibration code 2403. Ensure front wheels have sideways freedom of movement and do not move the steering wheel manually during calibration. A successful calibration will display an OK message.
