Fendt A.1.80 – A002 - ECU, enhanced control: B094 - Sensor, steering angle (4WD differential lock)

Signal/switch fault, specifically a short circuit in the steering angle sensor supply. As a safety and operational consequence, the tractor's 4WD and differential lock automatic systems become inoperable.

   Consult wiring diagram Sheet 33 / 39 and inspect the wiring harness and connector leading to the B094 sensor for a short circuit in the supply line or a wiring break.

   Check the B094 sensor for mechanical or electrical tolerances that may be causing an imprecise target value.

   Attempt to recalibrate the steering angle sensor via the tractor's terminal, as a lost calibration can sometimes trigger this fault.

   Locate the Sensor

   The B094 steering angle sensor is mounted on the front axle (Vorderachse / Achskörper).

   Removal

   Disconnect the electrical connector from the sensor. Unbolt and remove the faulty steering angle sensor from the axle housing.

   Installation

   Install the new OEM steering angle sensor and securely reconnect the wiring harness.

   Calibration

   After installing a new sensor, it must be calibrated to the tractor's system. Access the tractor's diagnostic terminal and run the Steering angle sensor calibration (Code 2401).
