Fendt A.1.A0 – A002 - ECU, enhanced control: EEPROM fault while storing

The control module has failed to save or write set values to its internal EEPROM memory, resulting in a loss of enhanced features when operating the hydraulic valves.

   Verify the voltage supply to the CAN-Bus on fuse board A013, specifically checking fuses F040 and F041.

   Inspect the wiring harness and connectors going to the A002 E-box for corrosion, loose pins, or damage.

   Use the FENDIAS diagnostic program or the Variotronic TI terminal to check for secondary bus faults or communication errors that might be interrupting the memory storage process.

   Attempt Reprogramming

   Attempt an End-Of-Line (EOL) reprogramming or flash programming of the A002 ECU using the FENDIAS tool.

   Replace the ECU

   If the EEPROM cannot be overwritten or the EOL reprogramming fails, the internal memory is permanently corrupted, and the A002 E-box must be replaced.

   System Calibration

   A complete calibration must be carried out after the replacement of the A002 Enhanced control ECU. This includes calibrating all connected sensors, the crossgate lever, and the transmission/actuator units using the FENDIAS software.
