Fendt A.1.A2 – General System / Working and Steering Hydraulics: More valves connected than registered via end-of-line programming.
Issue description
The tractor's electronic control system has detected more physical electrical spool valves connected to the CAN bus than what is currently configured in the tractor's software, causing the system to restrict functionality so not all valves can be operated.

Check the cause
Count the exact number of electrical spool valves installed on the front and rear of the tractor.
Check recent service history to see if a new spool valve was retrofitted or if the basic control unit (ECU) was replaced, updated, or reset.
Verify access to a laptop with FENDIAS diagnostic software and the AGCO CANUSB interface.
Repair steps
Connect diagnostic interface
Connect the AGCO CANUSB diagnostic interface to the tractor's diagnostic port and launch the FENDIAS software on your computer.
Establish communication
Establish communication with the tractor's General System / Hydraulic ECU.
Navigate to EOL programming
Navigate to the EOL (End Of Line) programming menu within FENDIAS.
Locate configuration settings
Locate the configuration settings for the electrical spool valves.
Update programmed value
Update the programmed value to match the exact number of physical valves connected to the tractor.
Save EOL programming
Save the EOL programming to the control unit.
Cycle ignition
Cycle the tractor's ignition (key off, wait 30 seconds, key on) to reboot the modules.
Clear codes and test
Clear the stored fault codes and test the operation of all spool valves via the crossgate lever to ensure full functionality has returned.
