Fendt A.1.B0 – Tractor Management System (TMS) / Spool Valves Operation: A003, A034 - Crossgate lever — Not calibrated

The crossgate lever (the joystick used to control the hydraulic auxiliary spool valves) has lost its calibration. The system does not recognize the zero/center position or the travel range of the lever, meaning the hydraulic valves cannot be operated or actuated.

   Check for related signal faults (A.1.B1, A.1.B2, A.1.B3, or A.1.B4) which indicate a hardware failure or wiring issue with the joystick.

   Verify if A.1.B0 is the only active code. If isolated, the hardware is likely fine and the lever simply needs recalibration.

   Apply the handbrake

   Apply the tractor's handbrake as a preparatory step.

   Start the engine

   Start the engine as a preparatory step.

   Clear the active fault

   Press and hold the designated clear key, then press the key again until the fault symbol is cleared from the dash.

   Enter calibration mode

   Press the menu key twice until the calibration pictogram is displayed and the key flashes.

   Input calibration code

   Input the code 1001 using the terminal keys until the desired number is displayed.

   Store the code

   Store the code with the enter key.

   Calibrate the lever

   Follow the on-screen terminal prompts to move the crossgate lever through its full X and Y axes to teach the module its travel limits and center position.

   Check for calibration errors

   If the calibration fails, the dash may display secondary F-codes. If F02 (Calibrated values are faulty) or F03 (MFA not responding) appear, the joystick hardware has failed and must be replaced.
