   Inspect the 'Spool Valves 1' circuit diagram and verify the physical wiring harness and connectors between the crossgate lever (A003/A034) and the Enhanced Control ECU (A002) for breaks, corrosion, or loose pins.

   Check for CAN bus communication errors, ensuring there is no missing power supply to the joystick.

   Attempt to recalibrate the lever (calibration code '1001' is frequently referenced for uncalibrated crossgate levers).

   Wiring Repair

   If the diagnostic checks reveal damaged wiring or a loose connector at the base of the joystick armrest, repair the connection to restore the X and Y axis signals.

   Recalibration

   Access the tractor's diagnostic terminal. Run the calibration procedure for the crossgate lever to reset the X and Y axis center positions.

   Component Replacement

   If the joystick fails calibration, suffers from partial dropouts, or has defective internal foil buttons/sensors, the crossgate lever unit is internally defective and must be removed.

   Installation & EOL Programming

   Install the replacement crossgate lever. After installing a new A034 joystick, you must run a new EOL (End of Line) programming sequence and calibrate the new lever so the ECU recognizes it.
