Fendt A.1.DA – Tractor Management System (TMS) / General System ECU: B022 'Kickout' pressure-operated switch fault
Issue description
The system has detected that the B022 pressure-operated switch is malfunctioning (e.g., the switch does not open or close when the required hydraulic pressure is reached). As a result, the hydraulic 'Kickout' function is not available.

Check the cause
Locate the B022 sensor at the right entry on the left connection area at the SAE pump connection (behind the removable metal panel).
Check the electrical connector X171 for corrosion, moisture, or backed-out pins.
Perform a voltage test sequence on the signal line, checking for a 0 / 2.4V toggle to verify if the pressure-operated switch is physically opening and closing under pressure.
Trace the wiring back to the ECU using the 'Spool valves 1' circuit diagram to ensure there are no short circuits to ground or broken wires.
Repair steps
Preparation
Park the tractor on a level surface, turn off the engine, relieve all hydraulic pressure, and disconnect the battery to prevent electrical shorts.
Access the Component
Remove the metal access panel on the right entry/left connection area near the SAE hydraulic pump to expose the B022 switch.
Removal
Disconnect the X171 electrical connector from the switch. Using the appropriate wrench, carefully unthread the faulty B022 pressure switch from the valve block. Have a rag ready to catch any residual hydraulic fluid.
Installation
Install the new pressure switch (ensure any required O-rings or sealing washers are in place) and torque to OEM specifications. Reconnect the X171 electrical connector.
Testing
Reconnect the battery, start the tractor, and operate the hydraulics to build pressure. Verify there are no leaks.
Clear Codes
Use the tractor's terminal or the FENDIAS diagnostic tool to clear the A.1.DA fault code and verify that the 'Kickout' function has been restored.
