Fendt A.1.DC – A002 - ECU, enhanced control: Hydraulic oil priority volume greater than pump volume

The operator has programmed the priority flow (the guaranteed oil flow reserved for specific auxiliary hydraulic spool valves) to a value that exceeds the maximum physical output capacity of the tractor's hydraulic pump.

   Check the hydraulic settings in the Varioterminal for the priority flow settings of all auxiliary spool valves

   Verify the requested priority volume against the rated output capacity of the installed hydraulic pump

   Check for concurrent fault codes (e.g., 5.1.98 or 5.1.99) that might indicate a failing auxiliary pump, a disturbed flow control sensor, or a lack of oil pressure

   Turn on ignition

   Turn on the tractor ignition and allow the Varioterminal to boot up.

   Access configuration menu

   Access the hydraulic spool valve configuration menu on the display.

   Locate priority flow valves

   Locate the valves that have priority flow enabled.

   Reduce priority flow

   Reduce the priority flow quantity (liters per minute) so that the combined requested volume is lower than the maximum output of the hydraulic pump.

   Save settings

   Save the settings. The fault code should clear automatically once the parameters are within a plausible range.

   Test hydraulic pump flow rate

   If the settings are already low but the code persists, physically test the hydraulic pump's flow rate. A worn pump failing to produce its rated volume will require replacement.
