Fendt A.1.FC – Enhanced Control ECU (E-box) / Rear Power Lift Control Module (EPC): S067; S068 - External valve actuation button 'raise' / 'lower' — Button double operation (button possibly stuck)

The system is detecting a simultaneous or 'double' actuation of both the external 'raise' (S067) and 'lower' (S068) spool valve pushbuttons. The system assumes one or both buttons are physically stuck, or there is a signal fault/short circuit in the wiring. For safety, the external valve actuation is immediately locked out and will remain inoperable until the next trouble-free cold start.

   Inspect the external valve actuation buttons (S067 and S068) on the rear left mudguard for physical damage, packed dirt, or debris wedging the buttons.

   Test voltage at separation points (X1114/X1115) or ECU pins (46/47 on X1402) with ignition ON. Unactuated should be 3.7-6.1 VDC; actuated should be ~1.8 VDC. 0 VDC or constant 1.8 VDC indicates a short or stuck switch.

   Trace signal lines from the mudguard to the central valve block to check for breaks or chafed wires shorting to the chassis.

   Clean the Assembly

   Thoroughly clean the external button housings on the mudguard. Often, agricultural debris causes the rubber membrane or plastic housing to bind.

   Replace the Switch

   If cleaning does not resolve the physical sticking, or if the voltage test confirms an internal short, replace the faulty pushbutton switch.

   Disconnect the Battery/Ignition

   Turn off the tractor and disconnect the battery before splicing or plugging in the new switch assembly to prevent voltage spikes.

   Install the New Button

   Remove the faulty S067/S068 switch from the mudguard housing, disconnect it at the separation point (X1114/X1115), and plug in the replacement.

   Clear the Fault Code

   Turn the ignition back on. The system requires a 'trouble-free cold start' to unlock the external valves. Clear all fault codes by simultaneously pressing keys D, B, and C on the dash.
