John Deere 100.31 – ECU: Engine Oil Pressure Signal When Engine RPM is At Zero / Sensor Indicates Oil Pressure When Engine Is OFF.

The controller registers an active oil pressure reading while the engine speed is at 0 RPM. Because oil pressure is generated mechanically by the running engine, it is physically impossible to have oil pressure when the engine is off. This indicates a malfunction of the oil pressure sensor itself, an erroneous signal within the engine's monitoring system, or an open ground in the sensor circuit.
