   Replacing the fuel pressure control valve must only be carried out at engine standstill. Ensure the fuel rail and oil supply systems are completely pressureless before proceeding.

   If the diagnostic checks revealed a short in the harness, fix the short circuit by repairing or replacing the faulty wiring, connectors, or terminals. Ensure all connections are secure and properly insulated.

   If the wiring is good but the valve is internally shorted, remove the defective Fuel Pressure Control Valve 2 from the high-pressure fuel pump assembly and install a new one.
