John Deere 1549.04 – ATC (Automatic Temperature Control): Heater Valve (Adjusting Motor) Voltage Too Low / Water Valve Motor Circuit Voltage Low

The control unit has detected an abnormally low voltage at the motor connecting leads (specifically leads 2016 and/or 2027) for the cab heater water valve (component B131). This low voltage condition typically indicates that the circuit is grounded (shorted to ground), which impairs the adjusting motor's ability to function. This results in poor heating performance, inadequate climate control, or a complete loss of cabin heat.

   Disconnect the heater valve motor (B131) and check if the low voltage/grounded condition on the harness goes away. If the harness tests fine when disconnected, the internal circuitry of the heater valve motor itself is shorted.
