The control unit has detected that its unswitched power supply voltage has dropped below the normal operational threshold (specifically, below 9.0 Volts). A voltage level this low can impair the functionality of electronic components, prompting the control unit to activate a safety mode that limits or halts certain functions to protect the system.

   Inspect the area around the batteries and alternator for any visual signs of damage, loose connections, or accumulated debris

   Check the battery's health and the alternator's functionality (a weak battery or failing alternator is a primary cause of low voltage)

   Measure the voltage directly at the PTF module's supply pins with a multimeter to verify if the voltage is consistently below 9.0 Volts

   Clean the battery terminals and tighten all ground connections to the chassis.

   If any blown fuses were found during the diagnostic checks, replace them with the correct amperage fuse.

   If multimeter testing reveals a voltage drop between the battery and the module, locate and repair or replace the damaged section of the wiring harness.
