   Using John Deere Service ADVISOR or a DST diagnostic tool, monitor the active code display. If there are other active codes (especially related to the engine speed sensor or crankshaft position sensor), diagnose those first.

   If there are no other stored or active DTCs, clear DTC 000190.16 and monitor the engine to see if the code returns during normal, flat-ground operation.
