   Check for Firmware Updates: Determine if there is a software version mismatch between the EIC and ECU that is preventing them from syncing properly.

   Using the Service ADVISOR tool, rewrite/correct the VIN entries in the EIC and ECU so they match the official chassis VIN exactly.

   If the VINs are already correct but the code persists, flash/update the firmware of both the EIC and ECU to the latest versions to ensure compatibility and proper synchronization.

   Address Immobilizer Faults

   If the immobilizer system is dropping the CAN bus communication (sometimes noted as Source Address 6 or 7 communication errors), repair the wiring harness or replace the faulty immobilizer component.
