   Monitor CAN Bus communication using a diagnostic tool (such as John Deere Service Advisor or Jaltest) to verify if the RPT is broadcasting data

   Identify and eliminate sources of electrical interference, ensuring proper grounding and shielding of the CAN Bus cables

   Check for accompanying CAN Bus error codes (e.g., 520542.03 or 000639.14) that might indicate a broader network short or voltage issue

   Assess the software health of both the RPT and the receiving control software to ensure there are no bugs hindering communication

   Reboot the System

   Reset or reboot the control units involved to clear any transient errors or glitches in the system.

   Repair Wiring

   If physical defects were found during diagnostics, repair or replace the damaged CAN Bus wiring harness or connectors linking the RPT to the main network.

   Install any available OEM software updates or patches for both the RPT control software and the logging module (BLC/AIC).

   Module Replacement

   If wiring is intact, software is updated, and the RPT module still fails to broadcast messages on the CAN network, the RPT module itself has likely suffered an internal failure and must be replaced.

   After making necessary repairs, conduct thorough testing with a diagnostic tool to ensure that messages are being correctly received and that full PTO/Powertrain functionality has been restored.
