Issue description

Check the cause

  1. Check CAN Bus resistance between pins C and D (CAN High and CAN Low) of the diagnostic connector with the battery disconnected (should be exactly 60 ohms).

  2. Inspect all CAN Bus wiring and connectors between the TIA (Cab Module) and the PDU/BCU for signs of damage, corrosion, or loose pins.

  3. Check for sources of electrical interference affecting the CAN Bus network and ensure all module grounds are tight.

  4. Monitor CAN Bus communication for high error rates or bus utilization issues using John Deere Service ADVISOR.

Repair steps

  1. Disconnect Power

    Disconnect the machine's battery before servicing the electrical system to prevent short circuits.
