   Identify and eliminate sources of electrical interference that may disrupt CAN Bus communication, ensuring proper grounding and shielding

   Turn the machine off, wait a few moments, and restart the vehicle. If the code clears and does not return, no further action is needed.

   Replace blown fuses

   If the code persists, locate fuses F22, F30, F35, and F45 in the load center. Test them for continuity and replace any that are blown.

   Test CAN Bus lines

   Use a multimeter or John Deere diagnostic tools to trace and verify the continuity of the CAN bus lines. Test for open circuits or short circuits in the wiring harness between the CAB and the affected module. Repair or replace damaged wiring.

   Verify terminating resistors

   Ensure that the CAN bus terminating resistors are in good condition and properly installed. Replace any faulty resistors.

   Update software

   Check if the OIC and CAB control software is up-to-date. Install any available updates or patches to resolve software-related communication gaps.

   Dealer intervention

   If standard troubleshooting does not correct the issue, the machine will require a certified John Deere technician to provide advanced diagnostics, as the control unit itself may have failed.
