   Monitor CAN Bus traffic using Service ADVISOR or a compatible diagnostic tool to verify if the CSM is transmitting data.

   Disconnect battery

   Always disconnect the battery before servicing CAN Bus modules or repairing wiring.

   Repair wiring and connectors

   If diagnostic checks reveal damaged wiring or corroded connector pins between the CSM and the HCC, repair or replace the affected harness section. Clean and secure all connections.

   Replace Cab Switch Module (CSM)

   If the wiring is intact and the CSM is receiving proper voltage but still failing to transmit data (or has failed internally), remove and replace the Cab Switch Module (CSM).
