Check the cause
Check for other codes from PL2, PL3, or PL4 (e.g., voltage supply issues) that could be taking the modules offline
Inspect transmission CAN bus wiring for visible signs of damage, wear, disconnection, or corrosion
Test CAN bus continuity using a multimeter to identify any open circuits
Inspect wiring for short circuits to ground or power, verifying with a multimeter
Verify CAN bus terminators are present and functioning correctly (typically reading ~60 ohms across CAN High and CAN Low pins with battery disconnected)

Clean and Secure Connections
Disconnect the PL1/PL3 module connectors, clean them with electrical contact cleaner, and securely reconnect them to rule out fretting corrosion.
