John Deere 2368.05 – CLC, RLC, or ICC: Left Turn Signal Light Circuit Current Problem

The control module has detected that the electrical current flowing to the left-hand turn signal circuit is lower than expected, or the circuit is completely open. This is most commonly caused by a blown light bulb, but it can also be triggered by a disconnected wire, a broken ground, corroded socket contacts, or a faulty control module.

   Visually inspect all left-hand turn signal bulbs (front, rear, and roof/extremity lights) for blown filaments or dark glass.

   Inspect the left turn signal bulb sockets for rust, dirt, or corrosion that could be causing an open circuit.

   Trace the wiring harness from the left turn signal housing back to the control module, looking for pinched wires, chafing, or disconnected harness plugs.

   Cycle the key switch or tractor power, as many lighting codes require a power cycle to clear after the underlying issue is fixed.

   Power Down

   Turn off the machine, remove the key, and ensure the lighting circuit is unpowered.

   Access the Bulb

   Remove the lens cover on the left-hand turn signal/warning light assembly (location varies by model, often on the cab beltline, fenders, or roof).

   Replace the Bulb

   Remove the old bulb. If the filament is broken or the glass is dark, replace it with a new OEM-spec bulb.

   Clean the Contacts

   If the bulb looks good, use electrical contact cleaner and a small wire brush to clean the socket terminals. Apply a small amount of dielectric grease.

   Test the Circuit

   Reinstall the bulb and turn on the machine's hazard lights or left turn signal.

   Clear the Code

   Cycle the tractor's power. Check the CommandCenter™ display to see if the 002368.05 code has moved to 'stored' or cleared entirely.

   Advanced Repair

   If the new bulb does not illuminate and the code persists, use a multimeter to test for 12V at the socket. If there is no voltage, you must repair the break in the wiring harness. If the wiring is fully intact, the CLC/RLC module itself may have a failed output driver and will require dealer programming/replacement.
