John Deere 2368.06 – ICC, CLC, RLC, or CAB: Left Turn Signal Lights Circuit Current High
Issue description
The control software has registered that the electrical current at the output to the front-left turn signal light is too high, which typically indicates a short circuit to ground. This can be caused by a wiring short, a faulty bulb/socket, or an internal issue within the control module itself.

Check the cause
Inspect the left front turn signal light bulb and socket for a failed filament shorting across internal posts or melting.
Examine the wiring harness and connectors leading to the left front turn signal for chafing, pinched wires, corrosion, or loose connections grounding against the frame.
Use a digital multimeter to check for continuity to ground on the left turn signal power circuit.
Test the functionality of the control module (ICC, CLC, RLC, or CAB) if the wiring and bulb are intact and not shorted.
Repair steps
Power Down
Turn off the machine and remove the key to ensure the circuit is unpowered.
Bulb Replacement
Remove the left front turn signal lens and extract the bulb. Inspect the socket for melting or corrosion. If the bulb is blown or shorted, replace it with a new OEM bulb.
Clear and Retest
Turn the machine back on and test the left turn signal. If the code clears, the bulb/socket was the issue.
Harness Repair
If the code persists, trace the wiring harness from the turn signal housing back to the respective control module (ICC/CLC/RLC). Repair any exposed wires that are touching the chassis.
Module Replacement
If the wiring tests perfectly (no short to ground) but the module continues to output high current or log the code, the control module itself must be replaced and reprogrammed by a John Deere dealer.
