John Deere 2370.06 – ICC or CLC: Right Turn Signal Lights Circuit Current High
Issue description
The controller has detected that the electrical current flowing to the right turn signal circuit is higher than the expected normal range, which typically points to a short circuit to ground (earth). This can be caused by a shorted wiring harness, a faulty bulb socket, or an internal failure within the control module.

Check the cause
Inspect the right turn signal bulbs for melted or shorted internal filaments
Examine the wiring harness and connectors leading to the right front and right rear turn signals, and cab roof module, for chafing, melted insulation, corrosion, or loose connections
Use a digital multimeter to check for continuity to ground in the right turn signal circuit to locate potential ground faults
Test the functionality of the ICC or CLC control module responsible for outputting the turn signal voltage
Repair steps
Power Cycle
Turn off the machine and restart the engine. If the code clears and does not return, it may have been a transient voltage spike.
Bulb Replacement
If the right turn signal bulb is burnt out or visibly damaged, replace it with the correct OEM wattage bulb.
Harness Repair
If a short to ground is found in the wiring harness (often where wires route through the cab roof or fenders), repair the damaged wire and secure it away from pinch points.
Socket Replacement
If the bulb socket is corroded or melted, replace the turn signal assembly.
Module Replacement
If the wiring and bulbs test perfectly but the circuit still reads high current directly out of the module pins, the ICC or CLC module has an internal short and must be replaced by a dealer.
Clear Codes
After repairs, clear the diagnostic trouble codes via the CommandCenter or diagnostic tool and test the right turn signal to ensure the code does not return.
