Issue description
Because there is no physical temperature sender located at the turbocharger compressor outlet, the control module calculates this temperature using data from other engine sensors. The code triggers when this calculated temperature exceeds the moderate threshold, indicating a potential issue with the turbocharger system (like over-boosting), a clog in the intercooler/Charge Air Cooler (CAC), inefficient engine cooling, or excessive engine load. The ECU will usually respond by limiting engine power to protect components.

Check the cause
Check for other active error codes related to the MAP sensor, EGR valve (e.g., 002791 series), or Variable Geometry Turbo (VGT) control (e.g., 002795 series)
Inspect the Charge Air Cooler (intercooler) and radiator for external blockages (chaff, dirt, debris) that could impede cooling efficiency
Check intercooler piping and hoses for boost leaks or internal blockages
Evaluate turbocharger operation to ensure the VGT is not over-spinning or creating excessive boost pressure
