John Deere 2833.31 – PTQ, PTI, or PTP: Park brake is engaged while vehicle is in motion

   Turn the tractor off, wait a few moments, and restart the engine to see if the module resets the code.

   Access the Switch/Sensor

   Locate the park brake switch or park brake valve pressure sensor (location varies by model; typically near the transmission valve body or shift linkage).

   Test the Component

   Use a multimeter to test the park brake switch for continuity when engaged/disengaged. If testing the pressure sensor, verify it is reading the correct hydraulic force.
