John Deere 3509.03 – ECU / CCU / PTR: Sensor Supply 1 Voltage Too High

The control unit has detected that the 5-volt sensor supply circuit is experiencing a voltage higher than expected (typically greater than 5.2 volts for longer than 2 seconds). This is usually caused by a short to a 12-volt source, a faulty voltage regulator, or an internally shorted sensor.

   Examine Sensors: Unplug sensors on the shared 5-volt circuit one by one (starting with the fuel rail pressure sensor). If the reference voltage drops back down to 5 volts after unplugging a specific sensor, that sensor is internally shorted.

   Inspect the Voltage Regulator: Verify that the module's internal or external voltage regulator is providing a stable 5V output.

   Disconnect Power

   Turn off the machine and disconnect the battery to prevent further electrical damage during repairs.
