   Verify the ECU software version, as outdated software can cause false triggers of this code (look for updates like SW62403F, SW63920C, SW62293E)

   Inspect the exhaust throttle valve (located just after the turbocharger) for excessive soot or carbon buildup that could physically bind the butterfly valve

   Check the wiring harness and connector leading to the exhaust throttle actuator for corrosion, bent pins, or damaged wires that could interrupt the position sensor circuit

   Connect the John Deere Service ADVISOR diagnostic tool and verify all active and stored codes.

   Flash the Engine ECU with the latest software payload to ensure the 3673.07 code is not a false setting caused by outdated learn-cycle parameters.

   If the code persists after the software update, allow the exhaust system to cool completely.

   Locate the exhaust throttle valve assembly in the exhaust piping downstream of the turbocharger.
