   If the DEF is contaminated or degraded, drain the DEF tank completely, flush it, and refill it with fresh OEM-spec Diesel Exhaust Fluid. Replace the DEF inline filter and dosing unit filter.

   Connect a diagnostic tool (such as John Deere Service ADVISOR) and flash the Engine ECU to the latest software calibration to rule out false triggers.

   Perform SCR System Verification Check

   Use a diagnostic tool (like Service ADVISOR or Jaltest) to initiate an 'SCR System Verification Check' to test the SCR catalytic converter's efficiency under controlled temperature conditions.
