   Verify that the Multi-Function Lever Module is receiving proper operating voltage and has a solid ground connection.

   Check if other buttons or modules on the same LIN bus are functioning to determine if the issue is isolated to the joystick or a broader main harness/AIC fault.

   Turn off the tractor and disconnect the battery to prevent electrical shorts during the repair.

   Carefully remove the trim panels on the CommandARM™ to expose the AIC and the base of the Multi-Function Lever Module.

   If the diagnostic checks revealed a broken wire or damaged connector pin on the LIN bus circuit, repair the wiring harness or replace the connector pigtail.

   Replace the Joystick Module

   If the wiring, power, and ground are all verified as good but the AIC still reports a missing message, the internal circuitry of the Multi-Function Lever Module has failed. Unbolt the joystick assembly, disconnect the harness, and install the replacement module.
