A "low amp draw" typically points to an open circuit, which can be caused by a disconnected plug, a broken wire in the harness, corroded connector pins, or a completely failed (open) solenoid coil.

   Visually inspect the diverter valve solenoid on the front SCV block for unplugged connections, pushed-out pins, or severe corrosion.

   Trace the wiring harness back to the Front Chassis Module (SCO) and test for continuity, checking for pinched, chafed, or broken wires.

   Disconnect the harness from the diverter valve solenoid and measure the resistance (Ohms) across the solenoid coil pins. Infinite resistance (OL) indicates an internally broken coil.

   With the tractor key ON and the SCV function commanded, verify that the connector is receiving the proper supply voltage and has a solid ground.

   Power Down

   Turn off the tractor and remove the key to ensure no power is sent to the Front Chassis Module (SCO) during the repair.

   Access the front SCV diverter valve block at the front of the tractor chassis.

   Unplug the electrical connector from the faulty diverter valve solenoid.

   Slide the replacement solenoid coil onto the valve stem and secure it with the retaining nut/clip.
