  2. Manually set the switch to the Center (un-pressed) position to attempt a system recovery.

  3. Cycle the key switch by turning the tractor off, waiting a moment, and restarting the engine.

  4. Follow any specific on-screen solutions provided on the tractor's CommandCenter display, then cycle the tractor power again.

Repair steps

  1. Power down and disconnect battery

Power down the tractor and disconnect the battery to prevent electrical shorts during service.

  2. Locate AIC

Locate the Armrest Interface Control Unit (AIC) on the operator's CommandARM.

  3. Remove trim panels

Remove the necessary trim panels and retaining screws to access the internal modules of the armrest.

  4. Locate Armrest Hitch Controls Module

Locate the Armrest Hitch Controls Module (often designated as module A065 or similar, depending on the exact tractor model).

  5. Disconnect wiring

Disconnect the wiring harness connectors attached to the module.

  6. Replace module

Remove and replace the Armrest Hitch Controls Module (the switch is typically integrated into this module block).

  7. Reassemble and reconnect

Reassemble the armrest console, reconnect the battery, and turn the key switch on.

  8. Verify repair

Verify that the 520285.11 code is no longer active and test the rear hitch lock for proper engagement and disengagement.
